LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Martin Luther King Boulevard between Carey Avenue and Lake Mead Boulevard.
According to police, the crash happened just before 7 p.m. Friday night at Martin Luther King and Bartlett Avenue. A 60-year-old man was crossing northbound Martin Luther King, when a Chrysler struck him.
The pedestrian was inside a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. The man was transported to University Medical Center, where he died a short time later.
Police have not indicated if the driver of the Chrysler will be cited and/or arrested.
