MEDICARE PREMIUMS FOR 2014

The last quarter of the year brings some trepidation for Americans over 65, as they wait to hear if their Medicare premiums will go up. There's good news from Health and Human Services: premiums will not go up in 2014.

HHS is also touting the money that older Americans are saving, now that the Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare) has closed the infamous "donut hole" in the Medicare Part D prescription coverage.

Their news release today says the average savings in Nevada will be $735 per person.

If you are not yet on Medicare, please share the news with your elderly relatives.

Til next time,

Paula Francis
