LAS VEGAS -- A zip line that will go between the two towers of the Rio Hotel & Casino will be offering rides in early November.

Capital Ventures, The creator of the VooDoo Zip Line, says the attraction will offer views of the Las Vegas Strip. The line will begin on the patio of the VooDoo Steakhouse which is on the 50th floor and send riders to the 20-story Ipanema Tower. Riders will then make a return trip to the starting point. One-third of a mile will be covered in one minute and 10 seconds.

"The ride is going to bring a completely new level of excitement to the Rio," said Kevin Donnelly, director of hotel operations. "Guests will be able to experience the fascinating views that the Rio is best known for from a whole new point of view – more than 400 feet above ground and going faster than 30 miles an hour. Day or night, this ride should definitely be on the bucket-list for tourists and locals alike."

The zip line will be open daily in early November. Admission will be $24.99 during day hours and $37 during evening hours.
