Road Rage Leads to Fatal Shooting

LAS VEGAS -- One person is dead from an apparent road rage shooting early Saturday morning in the northwest part of the valley.

Metro says the deadly shooting happened at the 6800 block of W. Lone Mountain Road, across the street from the Santa Fe Station around 1:45 a.m.

Responding officers found a male laying in the roadway suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a dispute occurred while two vehicles were traveling down the road. Witnesses to the road rage say, the suspect vehicle fired multiple gunshots striking the victim and sped away.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored car with possible rear tail light damage.
