LAS VEGAS -- Flights are taking off again at McCarran International Airport, after severe weather forced planes to be grounded for about an hour Monday afternoon.
Airport officials said plane fuel stops have been ordered because of the lightning. Arriving flights were not impacted.
There are still delays of about a half hour for departing flights. Travelers are advised to check the status of all flights.
