LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the victims of an apparent murder-suicide that occurred Wednesday as 38-year-old Megan Lanza and 51-year-old Nicholas Lanza.
Police officers responded to Megan Lanza's home at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Family members called police when they were unable to contact the home's residents.
When officers arrived at the home near Grand Canyon Drive and Russell Road, they found the bodies of Megan and Nicholas Lanza. Both victims had apparent gunshot wounds.
Police say the victims were married, but separated. The investigation found Nicholas Lanza went to the home to talk to his estranged wife. Police say Nicholas later shot and killed Megan, then turned the gun on himself.
