Third Person Charged in Murder of Man Found in Dumpster

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police announced that a third person has been arrested in connection with a body found in dumpster in August.

Theresa Allen, 46 of Las Vegas is charged with the death of Carl Rane Simon. Simon's body was found inside a suitcase in a dumpster near Nellis Boulevard and Owens Avenue August 12.

According to police, Allen along with Emilio Evalio Arenas, 43 of Las Vegas and Peyton Hemingway, 37 of Las Vegas beat and drown Simon because of a disagreement over money and drugs.  

Hemingway was arrested in Santa Ana, California. He has refused to waive extradition and proceedings are underway to bring him to Las Vegas to face charges.

Arenas was arrested in San Diego. He waived extradition and was brought back to Las Vegas.
