LAS VEGAS -- UNLV Runnin' Rebels sophomore forward Savon Goodman won't be playing in the upcoming season after being charged with felony burglary and grand larceny, both felonies. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of conspiracy to commit burglary.
A court document shows that the incident happened in May.
Coach Dave Rice has confirmed to 8 News NOW that the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native will be held out of all of the team's games for this season. He says that is so Goodman can focus on his off-the-court life. He did not expand on the charges.
Goodman has a court date set for Friday.
