LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the woman found dead in a pool earlier this week as 44-year-old Norma Jean Rivera. Her cause of death is still pending.
A pool maintenance worker found Rivera in the pool of a home near Wyoming Avenue and Lamb Boulevard Wednesday.
Police said it looks like her death was an accident and that alcohol and drugs likely were a factor.
According to neighbors, Rivera had two children, a 16-year-old and a 7-year-old.
Some medical providers say they often deal with Hispanic patients who are afraid to seek medical care. It's hoped the opening of a new medical clinic will change that.
