LAS VEGAS -- North Las Vegas Police arrested one person following Wednesday night's fatal traffic accident at Camino Al Norte and Edna Crane.

Nathan Brudjar, 27, is facing one count each of felony D.U.I-alcohol, felony reckless driving, failure to maintain travel lane and failure to wear seat belt.

The female driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead, two male occupants were transported with non-life threatening injuries and Brudjar reportedly fled on foot prior to officers arriving on scene.

Investigators said a red Cadillac sedan driven by Brudjar was traveling northbound on Camino al Norte at a high rate of speed. A gold Toyota sedan was attempting to make a u-turn on Camino al Norte at Edna Crane. The Cadillac failed to maintain its lane and struck the Toyota sending it into a light pole.

This is the seventh fatal crash in North Las Vegas this year.
