Police Seek Help in ID'ing Attacker

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who attacked a person in a parking lot Jan. 5.

According to police, the victim had parked a commercial shuttle bus at a store's parking lot at 4916 Paradise Road and went inside the business.

While inside, the unidentified man got into the bus and drove it to another location in the parking lot.

When the victim left the store and confronted the man about the bus being moved, the man attacked the victim, who suffered extensive injuries. The attacker then left in a car.

The attacker is described as a black man, about 25 years old, standing about 5-foot-11 and weighing 210 pounds. He has short black hair and green eyes.

The attacker's car is described as a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Nevada license plate 610-YMD.

A total of five units were affected by smoke and water damage.The Red Cross is assisting one person from one of the units.Arson investigators are looking into the cause, but say there's nothing suspicious about the fire at this time.More>>
