LAS VEGAS - A viewer wants to know when the Bradley Road Bridge near the Las Vegas Beltway will open.
Bradley used to be a regular road with a traffic signal at the intersection of Bradley and the Beltway. That road closed in April 2012. It will never reopen again as a road. Instead, crews built a bridge to carry Bradley over the 215 Beltway.
The new bridge is scheduled to open at 6 a.m. Monday.
This is part of the $116 million beltway widening project that will turn Jones Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard into future 215 Beltway interchanges with ramps.
The project will create a non-stop, four-lane freeway between Tenaya Way and North Decatur. Once the project is finished this summer, it will create seven miles of open freeway from U.S. 95 to Losee Road.
