LAS VEGAS - One person was critically injured following an accident on northbound Las Vegas Boulevard South near Sahara Avenue.
Police say a vehicle struck a man on a bicycle shortly after midnight. The bicyclist, 58-year-old Joseph Palla, was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, 21-year-old Hasani Washington, was not arrested.
All northbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard were shut down in the area, but reopened at around 5 a.m.
