LAS VEGAS - A suspicious item investigation near Spring Mountain Road and Jones Boulevard resulted in the recovery of fake grenades.
Police closed Spring Mountain between Jones and Decatur Boulevard during the investigation. They discovered the items in a car that rolled shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday.
After a thorough investigation, police determined the suspicious items were fake grenades. Police will soon reopen the roads. The driver of the vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
