LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has confirmed a Las Vegas mother killed her two children before turning the knife on herself.
On Friday afternoon, the bodies of 40-year-old Hae Chong Serra and her two children, 11-year-old Hope and 9-year-old Cory, were discovered in their home in Mountain's Edge. All three suffered knife wounds. The coroner has classified the deaths of the children as homicides and the death of the mother as a suicide.
The husband, Christopher Serra, was in the hospital at the time of the killings because of his own suicide attempt, police said.
Metro Police Capt. Chris Jones said it appears the couple had marital problems.
