LAS VEGAS -- A motorcyclist is in critical condition after rear-ending a car Sunday morning.
Metro says the accident happened just before 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.
The 36-year-old male bike rider was traveling north on Decatur when it struck the rear of a Honda CR-V that was waiting at the stop light at Tropicana.
The rider was thrown to the roadway and transported to UMC Trauma. The driver of the Honda remained on scene.
The accident is under investigation.
Some medical providers say they often deal with Hispanic patients who are afraid to seek medical care. It's hoped the opening of a new medical clinic will change that.
