NEW HARMONY, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say two adults and five children are hurt after a rollover crash involving an SUV towing a trailer on Interstate 15 near the southern Utah town of New Harmony.
The Utah Highway Patrol says a man who was pinned in the driver's seat of the wrecked Ford Excursion was extricated by firefighters and flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Las Vegas after the crash about 2 p.m. Thursday.
A woman and the children were taken by ambulance to a Cedar City hospital.
Witness Robert Adams of Delta tells The Spectrum of St. George that it appeared that a gust of wind caused the trailer to fishtail and trigger the crash.
The highway patrol says both the SUV and the trailer rolled over.
Some medical providers say they often deal with Hispanic patients who are afraid to seek medical care. It's hoped the opening of a new medical clinic will change that.
