LAS VEGAS -- A man was airlifted to University Medical Center Trauma in critical condition after a rollover accident near Indian Springs.

According to Trooper Elliott of the Nevada Highway Patrol, the rollover happened around 10:15 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 95 near Cold Creek Road.

A silver Nissan Xterra was traveling northbound on the U.S. 95 when rear tire separation caused the Xterra to roll.

There were five people in the vehicle, three adults and two children.

The other occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital via ambulance in unknown conditions.

The highway was shut down for a couple of minutes so the helicopter could land and pick up the critically injured man.
