LAS VEGAS -- The woman charged in a deadly DUI crash told police she took a Xanax 12 hours before the crash and drank two beers at the Spearmint Rhino strip club where she worked as a dancer, according to the arrest report.

Investigators say 26-year-old Shauna Miller was driving a Hummer H2 Saturday morning when she crashed into a Ford Taurus at the intersection of Wynn and Spring Mountain roads. The man in the Taurus, 33-year-old James White, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 2-year-old in the vehicle was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

According to the arrest report, Miller passed a preliminary breath test but failed some of the field sobriety tests. She did tell police she had taken a Xanax the previous evening and had two beers during her shift dancing.

Miller was arrested for DUI and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
