LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating a double shooting at North Jones Boulevard and Vegas Drive.
According to police, a man was walking in the area just after 11 p.m. Thursday, when he was approached by a group of about five or six men. The individual got into a fight with the group, and he pulled out a gun shooting two people, police said.
The two victims, one of whom was a 17-year-old young man, were rushed to University Medical Center. Their injuries do not appear to be life threatening, according to police.
The group of men ran in one direction, while the individual ran in the other. Police do not think the shooting was premeditated, but the investigation is not over.
Metro's Gang Crime Detail is investigating the incident.
