LAS VEGAS - Employees at Sundance Helicopters want to know if anything will be done to fix a stretch of Four Seasons Drive near Haven Street.
Sundance suspects gravel trucks from a nearby hanger construction project caused the damage.
County inspectors performed field checks on Four Seasons Drive. They found a temporary patch from a local utility that needed to be repaired, along with an older patch that needed some maintenance work. This will be completed by in-house county crews.
County inspectors researched older aerial images of the road. It appears the road has been deteriorating for some time, and that the damage is not necessarily associated with the current project.
The county found no proof the trucks that are used on the project exceeded their legal weight limit while transporting material along Four Seasons.
County crews, not the construction company, will repair the road in a future pavement rehabilitation project.
