HENDERSON, Nev. -- The woman killed in an apparent murder-suicide has been identified as 47-year-old Renee Bassett by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Bassett was found shot to death in her Henderson home Tuesday evening. Her ex-husband's body was found in front of the home in his car. Police said, the man died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The coroner has yet to confirm his identity.
The couple have two children, an 11-year-old and 13-year-old. The older child was in the home at the time of the shooting and called 911.
