Desai Hospitalized After Suffering Possible Stroke

LAS VEGAS -- The former doctor at the center of the hepatitis C outbreak was hospitalized last week for a possible stroke.

Dipak Desai, who has a history of strokes, was admitted to Summerlin Hospital on Feb. 24.

According to Mike Staudaher, chief deputy district attorney, there is a court hearing on Thursday where Desai's medical issues will be discussed.

Desai's lawyers have argued, in the past, Desai is incompetent to stand trial.
