LAS VEGAS -- Photographs released by Metro Police of a young woman seen posing in photographs with a man wanted in connection with a triple homicide Feb. 21 is not Tineesha Lashun Howard, 22, the publicist for the woman in the photos wrote in an email Wednesday.

Howard is a person-of-interest in Metro Police's investigation into the shooting that, through a chain reaction, ultimately killed three people, two of whom were innocent bystanders.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ammar Harris, 26, for three counts of homicide.

In the email, Charles Jones said Tasha Malek, a former reality TV star, is not connected to the homicides and "Las Vegas police also mistakenly identified her as a prostitute."

Jones said that Metro's misidentification has damaged Malek's reputation and she has hired Miami Beach attorney Michel Grieco, who has been in contact with the police department to retract the photos.

Metro police spokesman Jose Hernandez told 8 News Now the police department is standing by the release of the photos.

Hernandez said the police department is looking for the woman shown in the photographs.
