Marcos Arenas, a Bonanza High School student who was assaulted Thursday during an attempted theft, has died, Metro Police said.

LAS VEGAS -- A week has passed since two innocent people died in a fiery crash inside a taxi cab on the Las Vegas Strip in the early morning hours of Feb. 21.

According to police, Ammar Harris fired shots from his black Range Rover at Kenneth Cherry Jr., 27, who was driving his Maserati. Cherry then sped through the intersection, hitting a taxi cab. The cab exploded into flames, killing the driver, Michael Boldon, 62, and passenger Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, 48.

Since then, Metro Police detectives have identified Harris as a suspect in the three deaths and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Thursday, Metro Police said the woman they identified as a person of interest in the Strip shooting is no longer wanted. Tineesha Lashun Howard, 22, is no longer being considered to be a missing person or a person of interest in the triple homicides, police said. Howard also goes by the name Yenesis Alfonzo.
