Marcos Arenas, a Bonanza High School student who was assaulted Thursday during an attempted theft, has died, Metro Police said.

LAS VEGAS -- Special agents for Homeland Security raided a house near Bonanza Road and Eastern Avenue Friday.

According to a special agent, the house, in the 2000 block of Walnut Avenue, was raided for running a high-quality counterfeit document operation. The operation was providing such fake documents as driver's licenses, residency cards and college degrees, the agent said.

The agent said the operation was considered a national threat because of its ability to produce the quality fakes.

The federal department has been aware of the operation for a couple of weeks and sent in an undercover agent to buy a fake residency card, the agent said. Two men and a woman are being questioned.

As of 1:45 p.m., the scene on the street is quiet, with no obvious police presence. Agents are working from unmarked cars and have started assembling file boxes that read "evidence" on the outside.

Crime scene tape has been pulled across the driveway and the front door was kicked in after no one responded to agents' knocks on the door.
