LAS VEGAS -- The boyfriend of a woman who was stabbed to death late Sunday night is now facing a murder charge.

Sharon Denise Jones, 49, was stabbed repeatedly at a family member's home near Maryland Parkway and Serene Avenue, police said.

Fifty-three-year-old Ricardo Glasgow was booked into Clark County Detention Center Monday night. He is facing a murder, kidnapping and resisting a police officer charges.

According to the arrest report, witnesses told police, Glasgow and Jones were arguing and they heard him tell Jones, "Nobody in this house can save you. You're going to die." The witnesses in the home said they attempted to stop the stabbing by throwing items at Glasgow but feared he would turn his attention on them. They climbed onto the roof of the home for safety.

Police said, when they arrived at the home, they could hear Glasgow saying, "Come get me. Come see what I am doing." Police said, Glasgow was straddling Jones and holding a large knife. Police said, Glasgow refused their commands and they used an electronic control device to subdue him and take him into custody.

Glasgow is wanted in California on an outstanding warrant for a parole violation stemming from an attempted murder charge in 2005.
