LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating the death of an unidentified person in the downtown area Friday morning.

Police responded to the Oak Tree Apartment, 110 S. Bruce St., near 6 a.m. The gender of the victim and the location of the body discovered are not being released at this time. Homicide detectives and the Clark County Coroner's Office both are investigating the situation.
