1 Arrested in Shooting Last Week, Another Sought

LAS VEGAS -- Police arrested an 18-year-old man Feb. 6 in connection with a shooting outside a movie theater that same day, but continue to search for a second suspect.

According to Metro Police, Devante Jeffers was arrested on suspicion of his involvement in the shooting that critically injured two men and left another with less serious injuries.

Jeffers is facing several charges, including attempted murder, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.

Police are seeking for a second suspect, identified as Ariya Manoi, 21. He was described as an Asian man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 195 lbs., and with black hair and black eyes.

He is wanted on felony warrants in connection with the shooting, the police said, including three counts of attempted murder. Manoi is considered armed and dangerous.
