LAS VEGAS -- Police and fire officials are investigating the suspicious death of an individual whose body was discovered during an early morning house fire.
The fire started shortly after 2 a.m. on Glistening Sands Drive near Warm Springs Road and Eastern Avenue. Fire officials said the fire was contained to the garage, and firefighters put out the blaze within 10 minutes.
Metro Police described the body found in a garage fire as suspicious and homicide detectives are investigating.
No suspects have been identified. The individual's cause of death and identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
The fire caused about $75,000 in damage.
