FDA Warns Against Over-the-Counter Flu Treatment

Buyer beware for people wanting to use a combination of organic botanicals to fight the flu.
The Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Trade Commission are sending a strong warning to "flu and cold defense" for making misleading.. unproven claims about its GermBullet inhaler. The company advertises the products as a blend of 11 so-called natural remedies but the FDA has not tested the formula and the product is in a violation of drug safety regulations.
