HENDERSON, Nev. - A viewer wants clarification about a u-turn sign near Stephanie Street and Galleria Drive.
A viewer says the northbound light on Stephanie Street at Galleria Drive has a left turn arrow with a "No U-Turn" sign, but there is no road on which to turn left – leaving an alleged illegal u-turn as drivers' only option.
Traffic 8 examined the intersection and realized there isn't a problem at all.
The sign actually reads, "U-Turn Only", not "No U-Turn". Motorists may legally make u-turns here, when the left-turn signal displays a green arrow.
Drivers' options include heading north on Stephanie, turning right onto Galleria or legally making a u-turn south on Stephanie. A left turn is impossible, as the street is broken by the Pittman Wash before Galleria continues on the other side into Whitney Ranch.
