LAS VEGAS - A viewer says the left turn traffic light from southbound Decatur Boulevard to eastbound Sahara Avenue is too quick. Drivers get a green light for less than ten seconds.
The viewer says he missed three traffic cycles trying to turn, and the brief green light was causing many drivers to run the red light in front of him and his passengers. Apparently, only a handful of cars were able to actually get through the green light.
RTC FAST says the crossing times were previously adjusted, and that threw off the signals controlling traffic flow or causing that flow to halt.
FAST technicians studied the signal, evaluated the cycle, made adjustments and this problem is now fixed.
