LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A woman who was found dead in a downtown Las Vegas alleyway in early November but remained unidentified for weeks has finally been named.
Police say the woman is 50-year-old Las Vegas resident Christine Ray, who has also used the names Carla Pope, Christine Wright, and Christine Kay Farias.
Authorities say Ray's body was found lying near the intersection of 10th Street and Stewart Avenue the evening of Nov. 8.
Police released descriptions of the body in the following weeks in hopes the public could help identify her.
Detectives say they're still investigating the case, and are asking for help from anyone who may have had contact with Ray in October or November.
