LAS VEGAS -- A pedestrian was hit in the southeast Las Vegas valley about 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
According to police, a 25-year-old woman was crossing Flamingo Road outside of a crosswalk when a car headed eastbound hit her.
She was taken to Sunrise Hospital in serious condition and was alert and talking.
Eastbound lanes of Flamingo have been shut down at McLeod Drive for about four blocks.
