LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman's body found in an alleyway earlier this month.
The woman was found dead near 10th Street and Stewart Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8.
According to police, the victim was a white woman between 45 and 55 years old. She was 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium to heavy build, red hair and a scar on her left shoulder.
Detectives also believe her body was placed in the alleyway sometime between 1 and 7:15 p.m. on the day she was found. Police are asking anyone who was near the alleyway during that time or anyone with information about the identity of the victim to call homicide detectives at 702-828-3521, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
