LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Fire and Rescue battled a deadly two-alarm apartment fire on Brush Street near Decatur and Charleston Boulevards.
The fire started at the Alpine Village Apartments shortly before 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
Fire officials confirm a man died as a result of the fire and another has been burned. Investigators say careless smoking was the cause of the fire, it started on the second floor.
This is the third fire at the Alpine Village Apartments this year.
