Scott Daniels is helping make your mornings brighter. He joined 8 News Now as the morning reporter in November 2012 and he is ready to tell YOUR stories.
Scott comes to Las Vegas from Albuquerque, New Mexico where he covered all sorts of stories across the state, ranging from outlandish crime and corruption to the death of five-time boxing champion Johnny Tapia.
Before heading west, Scott worked as a general assignment reporter in Louisiana, covering stories about the military and the essential farming communities that were threatened by the flooding of the Mississippi River.
Scott was born and raised in Roseville, California. He is an Arizona State University graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, where he earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Communications. He's a fun guy, too. Scott only wrote this bio in the third person to sound more professional.
He is a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan and loves baseball in general. He also enjoys politics and playing basketball in his free time.
