LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A judge in Las Vegas is expected to name a lawyer to defend a 24-year-old man accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana in a fatal bus stop crash.

Clark County District Court Judge Jennifer Togliatti's expected decision on Wednesday comes after attorneys Kristina Wildeveld and Dayvid Figler withdrew last week from representing Gary Lee Hosey Jr.

Wildeveld said Hosey's family ran out of money to pay for his defense. But it's still possible that she and Figler will be appointed at county expense.

Four people were killed and eight were hurt in the Sept. 13 crash, including Hosey.

He faces enough charges to put him in prison for the rest of his life. He has not yet entered a plea.
