The next big breakthrough in the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease could come from right here in las vegas, out of research being done at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in downtown Las Vegas.
Many people have questions about the disease, so 8 News Now teamed up with the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and the Cleveland Clinic for an informational phone bank during November, which is Alzheimer's Awareness Month.
Despite all the headlines about the disease, still there is a lot of misunderstanding and fear.
