LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police officers have arrested a man in connection with the March shooting death of man in the 5200 block of Stewart Avenue near Nellis Boulevard.
Akeem Tripp, 20, is facing a charge of murder with the use of a deadly weapon. He was arrested Sunday and is being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
Phillip Hooks died just over a month after being shot in the back of the head and in the back. The Clark County Coroner's Office determined his cause of death was a homicide.
