Vehicles include police cars, and merchandise ranging from computers to bicycles to unclaimed items found at McCarran airport. Many of the items are from county agencies that no longer needed.

Allen Ellis has never missed a county auction. He has bought cars, motorcycle parts, office equipment. He hopes to be the winning bid for a box truck on Saturday.

"That's mine. I'm going to end up with that," he said.

"We have 281 vehicles," David Johnson said.

He is the automotive manager for the county. The vehicles were used by various county agencies.

"From small-sized sedans all the way up to fire trucks. SUV's, pickups, factory trucks. You name it, we have it down here," he said.

Unclaimed items from McCarran International Airport's lost and found also end up at this auction.

The auction starts at 8 a.m., but it's recommended people come earlier to pre-register.
