Alzheimer's disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, but for many people, a diagnosis of the disease is a fate worse than death!
But the more we know, the more equipped we can be to handle Alzheimer's in ourselves or loved one.
To help you know and understand more, 8 News Now will have a special phone bank of Alzheimer's experts to take your calls and answer your questions about this dreaded and deadly disease, during November, which is Alzheimer's Awareness Month.
The phone bank will be held Tuesday November 20th from 4pm to 6:30. I'll be reporting live during the phone bank, so you'll be reminded during our afternoon newscasts that day. Make a note of the phone number: 702-650-1101.
You can also join a worldwide conversation about Alzheimer by going on twitter and using #onememory. You can follow the Las Vegas facility, Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, on twitter at @ClevelandClinic .
