LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified a 40-year-old man shot dead earlier this week at a Las Vegas apartment complex.
The Clark County coroner says Las Vegas resident Tyrolia Belt died of gunshot wounds to the head and torso after the incident about 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Las Vegas police found Belt when they responded to reports of gunfire on Madre Mesa Drive, not far from the North Las Vegas Airport.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say they interviewed a person of interest who had been in an argument with Belt just before the shooting.
Police have said the details of the case would be forwarded to prosecutors so they can consider possible charges.
