A domestic violence nonprofit organization that helps rescue women from violent relationships, is now itself in need of saving.More>>
LAS VEGAS -- Walmart has launched its "12 Days of Giving" campaign which allows people to nominate local charities to receive money.
People can make a nomination on Walmart's Facebook page. The nomination must be made by Nov. 18. The winning non-profits will receive a portion of a $1.5 million grant.
The money is given out over a 12-day period. Each day will focus on a different giving theme, including hunger, military help and disaster relief.
