(AP) -- At this hour, Romney is leading Obama in the race for the presidency by a 50 percent to 48 percent margin in the popular vote nationwide. Independent and other party candidates are getting 1 percent of the vote nationwide. That's with 48 percent of the precincts reporting.

Obama has won 152 electoral votes in 14 states and the District of Columbia. He is leading in 7 states for a total of 87 more electoral votes.

Romney has won 181 electoral votes in 19 states. He is leading in 6 states for a total of 51 more electoral votes.

Independent and other party candidates has not won any state and currently not leading in any state.

In the 435 U.S. House races, the Republicans have won 160 seats and are leading in the races for 47 seats. The Democrats have won 96 seats and are leading in the races for 49 seats. Independent and other party candidates have won or are leading for 0 seats.

In the 33 U.S. Senate races, the Republicans have won 5 seats and are leading in the races for 4 seats. The Democrats have won 15 seats and are leading in the races for 4 seats. Independent and other party candidates have won or are leading for 2 seats.
