LAS VEGAS -- Nevada Highway Patrol and California Highway Patrol officers have arrested one of the three people they were looking for near Nipton Road west of Searchlight.
NHP has about a dozen troopers and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's office has a SWAT team assisting.
Law enforcement is now looking for one man and one woman. The person that has been arrested is a man. The search is going on about four miles off the California side of Interstate 15 and Nipton Road.
The three people are accused in a robbery and carjacking. Nipton Road is closed in both directions, but I-15 is reported to be not affected. The road is near the California-Nevada state line.
