Pedestrian Killed in Accident Near Flamingo and Jones

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating a fatal crash at West Flamingo Road and South Jones Boulevard in which a pedestrian was killed.

The accident occurred Wednesday at 8:22 p.m. Police say a 1997 Infinity Q45 was traveling westbound along Flamingo when it struck the pedestrian, a male in his 50's. The pedestrian was outside a crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The victim was transported to University Medical Center where he died a short time later. The Infinity left the scene of the accident but later returned. Police arrested the driver, 41-year-old Roland Biscailuz, for DUI and Hit and Run.

The Clark County Coroner's office has not yet identified the victim.
