Former County Firefighter Sentenced to Probation

LAS VEGAS -- A Clark County firefighter who lost his job after he admitted to calling in false emergencies and stealing from his coworkers has been sentenced to five years of probation by a Clark County District Court judge Monday.

John Brush was also ordered to pay restitution on the amount he stole from the department.

If he complies, he will not have to serve any of the 18 to 24 months of time he could have been sentenced to for his conviction.
