LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a bank near Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Road Thursday.
According to police, the robber entered the bank just before noon. He approached a clerk, demanded money and said he was armed. The clerk complied and the robber left.
The man also robbed a bank near Durango Drive and Warm Springs Road the afternoon of Sept. 27 in the southwest valley.
The robber approached the teller window, placed a handgun on the counter with the barrel facing the teller and demanded money, the police said. The teller complied and the robber left.
The robber is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build, red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue Kansas City Royals ball cap, a white button down shirt and dark jeans.
